Camera Mounts

In the course of taking photographs for artistic or scientific purposes a photographer may reach the limitations of mass produced mounting equipment that prevents them from achieving their desired results. In these situations, where the goal is a specific image that is impossible to produce with traditional equipment a custom solution is required. Working closely with the customer within the defined constraints the necessary piece of mounting equipment can be designed and created.

Camera Enclosures

One of the major concerns of a photographer is prolonging the usable life of their equipment. There are times where additional protective equipment is necessary to reduce the chance that equipment is damaged or destroyed, this can include anything from ballistic events to severe weather. Using customer requirements a custom solution can be designed and fabricated to safeguard their equipment in even the harshest of conditions.

Camera Triggering Devices

In almost all scientific photography situations and some select artistic situations simple human interaction with the camera is not sufficient to capture the desired images. This requires that a device be used to detect the event and trigger the camera or flash equipment accordingly. These precise electronic trigger units instantaneously trigger or accurately delay the trigger to the desired moment the subject is to be photographed. This results in properly timed capture of high speed photographic events on the order of microseconds or less, which are consistently reproducible.

Device Modifications

Some photographic situations require the modification of existing equipment to meet the needs of a project. This can include the removal of IR blocking filters from digital cameras to create an IR sensitive scientific camera. Another potential application is custom fabrication of devices to enhance the ability of lenses, such as a Nikon to Canon lens adapter.

Specialty Cameras

Cameras can be designed for any application, whether it is for hobbyist or professional purposes. The requirements that a client indentifies can be used to create a custom solution that meets the needs of the project. This can include anything from microcontroller programming and interfacing with manufactured cameras to a custom circuit design with the desired image sensor.
